Job description
You will be operationally responsible for the daily management of all daily operations and the farm as a whole. You will report directly to the Managing Director of Bejo Vietnam. Your main activities will involve managing all the crops in the farm, all planning, organizing the workforce (>100 people) and ensuring their optimal use. You are responsible for all aspects of farm management and ensuring that the production protocols are followed. Furthermore, an important part of your job is to establish good management systems for supervisors and team leaders, store materials, maintenance, HSE and purchase protocols. As farm manager, you will have contacts with local companies and government needed to run the farm.
Job requirements
You have a Bachelor or University Degree in Agriculture or a related field with proven experience in green house vegetable cultivation. Experience in seed or cutting production is a plus. As farm manager, you are a team player who is used to working with big groups of people. You have good people management skills and a problem solving attitude. You are reliable, responsible and organized and you are able to work independently. Furthermore, you have excellent command of written and spoken English and you have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
