We are currently looking for an Agronomist for marketing communication who will support our team from our office location in Budapest during a temporary absence. You will be responsible for implementing marketing plans and activities in one of our key markets Hungary. In order to do so, a good understanding of customers’ needs and interests of other agricultural suppliers (e.g. seeds, plant protection, machinery, etc.) is key!
Your main tasks and responsibilities
- Provide agronomical content for communication channels such as newsletters, expert articles, websites and webinars
- Understanding of Hungarian agricultural practice
- Develop communications content for marketing tools of Borealis L.A.T that provide additional value for customers / farmers
- Update website and content in line with campaign targets
- Implement and coordinate campaigns in Hungary in alignment with Sales, Marketing colleagues and external suppliers
- Be aware of customer needs
- Regularly report the development and status of campaigns
- Ensure Corporate Identity (CI) and Corporate Design (CD) unique conformity in all activities
Your profile: Knowledge & Skills, Experience
- University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences – studies of Agriculture or Horticulture with Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Agricultural background
- Languages: Hungarian, mastery in English at business proficiency level, additional languages seen as asset (cross cultural environment)
- IT skills proficiency for online marketing and virtual working
- Cross cultural awareness to communicate with peers in different countries
- Proactive behaviour, information seeking & sharing
Office location: Budapest, Corvin-negyed
Duration of employment: temporary assignment (for 1 year for a start; prolongation to 2 years possible)
This is a part-time position, 16hr/week
